Diana B. Plascencia has provided economic advice to companies in cases of merger control, abuse of dominance and several others antitrust issues. She has also conducted research on regulation in the energy sector, divestitures, the retail sector and vertical restraints in digital markets.
Previously to joining GAMES Econ, she was a consultant for the international consulting firm Global Economics Group. Prior to that, she coordinated the Regulatory Affairs office in FEMSA, the 5th largest company in Mexico, where she was responsible of quantifying the impact of regulatory modifications on retail, logistics, energy, among other sectors. She also coordinated and supervised the implementation of compliance strategies. Due to her commitment, she was honored with an Excellence in Customer Service award.
She has solid skills in econometric techniques and advanced understanding of analytical tools including Stata.
She has acted as expert witness before specialized courts in competition, telecommunications and broadcasting in Mexico.
