Rubén Guerrero has provided economic advice to companies in cases of merger control, vertical restraints, abuse of dominance and several others antitrust issues, including competition on digital platforms. He has also conducted research on regulation in the telecommunications sector.
Previously to joining GAMES Econ, he was a Principal with the international consulting firm Global Economics Group. Prior to that, he headed the Directorate of Strategy of Monopolistic Practices and Illicit Concentration in the Mexican Telecoms Regulator (IFT). He was also a Director at the Mexican Competition Agency COFECE, where he led investigations on abuse of dominance and vertical restraints on different sectors, such as retail, telecommunications, air transportation, among others.
He was named expert witness for the specialized tribunals in economic competition, telecommunications and broadcasting in Mexico.
